Deniz Seker
She became a mixed media artist after 15 years career in engineering. Deniz tells stories in three dimensions. For her, art begins with prompts from nature, colours, shapes and textures, gathering objects, making connections to a storyline. Since childhood, she has been a self-guided student of the natural world, poetry, and stories. She sees objects as forms of visual poetry. Through them she seeks to speak to her viewers quietly, often whimsically, of the beauty of the earth.
